PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH CHEROKEE COUNTY

Garland Mountain Horse and Hike Trails and Cherokee County NEWS!!!!!!

Last night Garland Mountain Board President Charline Cambron, IT & Research Nancy Foy and Secretary Carolyn Stambaugh attended the Cherokee County Commissioner meeting where our PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT with the County was voted into Cherokee County. This Agreement legitimizes FGMT’s mission to support the development, maintenance, enhancement and preservation of the Garland Mountain trails through volunteer stewardship.

With this Agreement it is now codified that Garland Mountain will continue to be a horse and hiking park only for at least 10 years!

This would not have happened without the arduous efforts of the County’s Recreation and Parks Bryan Reynolds, Jay Worley and Adam Fussell. They have always been excellent, caring partners with us in keeping Garland Mountain safe and a bright diamond of green space and now it is OFFICIAL!

Board of GMT meets their new Commissioner, William (Will) Cagle at the Cherokee County’s Commissioner meeting last night where the Partnership Agreement between GMT and the County was codified. Great night thanks to leaders at our County’s Recreation and Parks Division Bryan Reynolds, Jay Worley and Adam Fussell.
